There are several activities available on each theme page. Here’s how to use them!

To use a magnet page, begin by printing off the worksheet. Purchase circular Expo Brand whiteboard magnets. I have seen them at Sam’s Club, sometimes packaged with push pins, or on EBay. Have the children put the paper on a cookie sheet. I recommend the Bakers Secret brand one that is 9×13. Have the children complete the picture by putting a magnet in each circle. Some people use pompoms or bingo markers with them. This activity is designed to promote one to one correspondence and letter recognition. If you have older kids, these magnets can also be used with theMagnet Mosaics.

To use an Easel Painting, begin by printing the page. Cut the top and bottom rows apart leaving a blank space on the end of the top row. Glue the bottom row onto that space. Laminate. Clip this to the top of your easel. Now the children follow the directions to paint the picture. If you have preschoolers, you will probably need to model a painting the first few times you use these. Easel Paintings are designed to help children transpose what they see. Some people also cut these apart and use them for a sequencing activity.

Magic Nuudle pages are designed to use with Magic Nuudles. They have a website where you can purchase them. If you want to do it the cheap way, use packing peanuts. This activity is designed to promote one to one correspondence and letter recognition.

Bingo Marker pages are designed to be used with Bingo markers or Do a Dot brand markers. They are designed as large open pictures that accommodate the wide marker tips. They work great as coloring pages as well.
